BR’s hint: Overwhelmed by loss, Lafayette decided to shave his head, hoping it would prove to be a tangible grieving mechanism, a physical way of reminding himself that life is constantly changing, but always moving forward. It’s not entirely unlike Tara’s haircut before heading to New Orleans in search of a new life. It must run in the family.
